Influencing how often you win is something that can be managed and progressed towards, though it's not easy. However, controlling your win rate in World of Warships is something that can be done, and done solo. It's unfortunate that these are accepted truths in so many eyes. For some, they feel that any winning streak will have RNG slap them back into the dirt later to balance it out. Or they may feel that they only truly gain a modicum control when they division with other players in whose performance they trust. They may believe it to be luck, dependent on the whims of Matchmaker. "It's impossible to carry in World of Warships."Ĭontrolling your win rate seems like a pipe dream for many players in World of Warships. "You have to division to increase your win rate." "I don't stand a chance when I'm bottom tier." "Whenever I'm doing well, Matchmaker tries to make me lose." "RNG ruins any competitiveness in this game." But the colors remain the same.A long time ago, on a forums board far, far away, I once wrote a similar post to this one. My sig numbers updated in the time it took me to type this post. So that extra ~140 battles makes so-called unicum status (even though this stat itself doesn't matter at all)? So why is one stat red and yet above average while another is yellow and yet below average?Īlso, my battle count is 1,068. NA server average is 28,715, so, yeah, I'm below average here. Though perhaps, as the (I assume) normal distribution has (I assume) long tails at both ends, 55% should be dark blue. What I find interesting, based on my numbers in my sig right now (which are actually 3 days old, even with a forced update just now): To see the "official" scale as used by most of the Tanking community surf to where they show a nice table. With some extra colors thrown in between for more detail in some applications. Note that traditionally the color scheme goes (something) like this, from worst to best: Can anyone point me to where the color scheme is explained? Looked but can find no explanation they don't seem to have a FAQ or good explanatory help page. Yeah I finally got a purple color in there, but anyone can get that by simply playing battles, so I'm obviously not looking at that. Looking at my sig block and have been wondering for months why all of the "bad" colors.
